Lisa KungMs. Kung, Director, joined the Center in 1999 as a staff attorney. Her work focused on litigating prison and jail conditions in Georgia and Alabama. She became Director in 2006. She is a 1997 graduate of New York University Law School, where she was editor-in-chief of the Review of Law and Social Change. Following law school, Ms. Kung was a Rockefeller Brother Fund Fellow at the Vera Institute of Justice in New York City. She then returned to Atlanta to work at the Law Center for the Homeless as a Soros Justice Fellow. Her undergraduate joint degree in physics and philosophy is from Emory University. She is a member of the Georgia bar. |
